Laura, I enjoyed how you moved from the humor of Ross yelling “Pivot!” into the deeper invitation of Matthew 11. The image of needing firm feet when the weight we carry begins to shift gives the poem a useful spiritual center, because not every pivot is about motion; some are about learning where to place the burden. I appreciated the reminder that turning away from worldly lies begins with being yoked to Christ, whose gentleness makes rest possible. Grateful for this playful and faithful response to the prompt.
